New Zealand Flag
Many thanks indeed to New Zealand for continuing to recognise the links with the UK. For our part, we shall never forget the great sacrifices you made to help us in two World Wars. It is a matter of great shame to us that you were treated so badly by our useless politicians when they went crawling to join the Common Market in the 1970s. It is just possiblethat the British people will get off their knees amd vote to stuff the EU in June!

Stuey...its a Referendum, where everybody who is allowed to vote in the UK, will be able to do so, in exactly the same was as General Election. It will happen on June 23rd.
I understand that it is a "consultative" Referendum, so the present Government will be able to assess what to do after the vote. For instance if its a 49%-51%, it may not result in an immediate change.
I think that is correct but I may be wrong.

Thanks ginge, I was not aware of that !
But I notice from the wiki entry, that it has only been made in Wiltshire since 2012, thus I can assume it was imported from NZ, from the date that we entered the EU until that 4 years ago, so I am still unsure what Chris38 is on about.
As far as I am aware, NZ lamb still comes from NZ !
So I must conclude that this tread is indeed, an anti-EU rant, as I suspected.
