Yes I know the stay mob will just call us their favourite names but I wish they'd digest it if they were reading a transcript of someone anonymous rather than just thinking their usual ingrained thoughts that no one from UKIP could possibly talk any sense and shutting up shop. Give it a go.....

dunno what happened the you tube link wont work in the box.
I listened to this when it was first broadcast and I have to admit, I agree with him.
The link worked for me just now TTT.

No, I would find it hard to fault the speech. Needs publicising everywhere.

What a shame that man can't get a Party behind him.
Why desert a sinking ship? Better surely to plug the holes.

You know what would be really interesting?

A debate between Nigel and all those business leaders who signed the letter stating their support of the 'In' campaign. For those of us who genuinely want some info, rather than the bluster we get when opposing political entities get together, that would be thoroughly enlightening.

Me, I lean to the 'in' camp, but I'm not 100% convinced. The problem I have is (to my mind) both sides are talking from the heart, rather than the head.

In fact, forget the politicians...I would like to see a debate between businessmen and businesswomen in the 'leave' camp and those in the 'remain' camp.

That would extremely interesting to me, because right now, all we are hearing is one element to the discussion.
Wouldn't you think that the BBC would broadcast that? Naahh thought not.
Baldric he has got a party behind him. Problem is he isn't leading it.

The problem is - the BBC has focussed on the debate between the political parties. Whilst it's also put together a pretty decent for/against microsite, it (and no-one else so far as I can see) have thought of putting business people together to argue it out.

That's the one element that I think is missing here. I'm sure that you and many others would like to hear the ideas of those who are the backbone of our financial future?
"In fact, forget the politicians...I would like to see a debate between businessmen and businesswomen in the 'leave' camp and those in the 'remain' camp."

Whilst it's admirable to divert attention away from politicians, sp, I think it would be equally prudent not to place too much emphasis on the views of businessmen. Over 80% of businesses in the UK have no involvement with Europe whatsoever.

The main consideration in this decision should not be business or money. Business will go on, money will still change hands. It did long before the EU was formed and it will long after it has disintegrated. This is about whether people in the UK want to be live in a country called the UK or one called the EU. The two will soon become mutually exclusive.
Thank you, NJ. It is not about economics and business. They will survive and evolve after a hiccup or 2.
Chrissa first broadcast in October 2015, a very pertinent speech and has been posted on here a good few times.

Baldric, //What a shame that man can't get a Party behind him.//

I agree, but I wonder why he can't. Any ideas? Anyone?
Because he, like Donald trump, just tells people what they want to hear but those among us with more than two brain cells can see that he hasn't a goddam clue about how to deliver?

No?
