Yes :)
If we tell former elected politicians to shut up, what shall we do with those unelected loudmouths who spout anonymously in chatrooms? Why should they have more rights than him?
He is the highest paid politician in the entire world;

no doubt he is being paid further for his 'impartial' view.
Khandro, will you stop linking to that spoof site, some Brexiters of limited intelligence might take it seriously.
Dear Khandro, "The ‘People’ section is a humorous parody of Gossip magazines, all stories are obviously not true."

It was the 'John Major Seduction' that clinched it for me.☺
Perhaps I should elucidate. Yes, he is likely to drive even more into Brexit. I'm quite happy about that. I rather liked John Major, on the whole - not a lot!

Pleased to see that jno thinks that only SOME Brexiters are of limited intelligence. I thought that in the eyes of the REMAIN camp we all were!!
Well, it's worth a try.
Bit like wheeling out Paul McCartney at every national celebration.... no one wants to listen to him but he is indulged by virtue of his status.

Good analogy; I like it.

All we need now is for Gordon Brown to make the case for remaining then we'll have it in the bag!
He was wheeled out a few days ago but I don't think anyone noticed. No surprise there then!

'' Brexit not the solution to uncontrolled immigration''
Well he would say that wouldn't he.

Major said of the Brexiters’ views on immigration, “This is their trump card. I urge them to take care. This is dangerous territory that, if handled carelessly, can open up long-term divisions in our society.”
One wonders what he had to say about social divisions apropos Goldsmith’s grotesque mayoral campaign!
John Major lost credibility a long while ago when he dumped us into the EU.
He wasn't the most successful PM was he!
I can't see why Major shouldn't make comments. He is a former PM of our country and has right to do so if he likes.
This quote made me laugh
'The ex-Tory PM said claims by Michael Gove, Boris Johnson and Iain Duncan Smith did not bear
factual scrutiny and warned about the tone of some exit campaigners' rhetoric on immigration.'
As if the remainers have been factual with what they have said!
I never took any notice of him anyway.
