I wonder what would happen if France won't accept them, Togo.

Perhaps they will stay "home" and sort out the problems there. Instead of us pouring cash into "there" then squandering even more when they get here.

^^ They disappear into the 'Black economy' working illegally as you said.
How are new rules going to stop that?

Well if we are outside the EU we certainly won't have any influence on the Schengen agreement. I do think though that regardless of the Brexit vote Schengen will be ditched/watered down and we'll see more barriers/wire fences between certain countries.

France has already said that if we leave the EU they are likely to take the easy option and dump the Calais immigrants 'over the border' out of the EU and into the UK. Remember the UK border is only at Calais due to an agreement between UK and France, as soon as we are out of the EU that border will be back to Dover as a non EU country can not have a border inside the EU! Think about it!
f.f. ask yourself, how do they get into France? Say they are stuck in France? So France says non monsieur. Now the next in the conveyor belt says oops, we can't shift em West, better stop the influx etc etc. They flood into Europe because eventually they get here.

Bingo Ringo! The current "set up" doesn't does it? New brooms required for the stygian stables. Right is might, time our rights were considered, not the vision of the evil Blair and his twisted cohort Mandleson
TOGO- I agree with all that. But if we find some illegals in the UK I don't see how it can just be a simple as 'send them back to France' unless they're (or should it be 'there' on this thread) carrying a French passport (which is very unlikely).

How? Parachute? Submarine? In bottles of wine(vinegar)? Disguised as onion sellers like wally? The frogs will take a hike, as ever, when faced with reality.
f.f. when they get here they pretend they don't even know how old they are never mind where they are from. How about put em back on the lorry, fill it up with fuel free, waive licence and insurance checks, and turn the bleedyn lorry back whence it came. If that was France, wellll game kin on. No more lorries full of migrants allowed into France.

If this (my link) happened if we were out of the EU, what exactly would happen, or what could we do different than what we can do now?
Another thought. These lorries full of illeggrants( that was a keyboard lag typo but I thought it was apt), what were they supposed to be "importing"? Were they coming back empty?
^^ Exactly trt we could do nothing different, in or out of the EU makes no difference to this problem.
There are valid arguments for 'leave' and 'remain' but dealing with immigrants is not one of them!
Togo No the lorries are coming full of goods with the illegals in addition.
Any food imported in a lorry found to contain 'human cargo' is destroyed as being unfit for use. Would you want to eat food that had been imported in a lorry that people had been living in and using as a toilet?
^^ But then as I said over 90% of illegal immigrants get through undetected so the contaminated food is sold !
