"Thomas Mair gave his name as "Death to traitors, freedom for Britain" when he appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court."

Now...where have I heard those words before ?

Let's hope this guy is declared fit for a very long sentence at Her Majesty's pleasure. Jo Cox looked like to have been the bright spark, the Labour Party needs right now. Prison is too good for this evil guy.

On 2 other threads here today?

Or do you mean another place and time.
I can read between the lines. Just like the thread yesterday which sought to lay the blame at the feet of Nigel Farage, this is yet another attempt to make veiled political capital out of a tragedy. Shame on you!
JD
Usual suspects. Never slow to grab a political dig. Disgusting :-(
Did somebody else, prior to Mair, state "Death to traitors, freedom for Britain"?
'Suspects' plural?

I hope you are not referring to me in that comment - the 2 threads I refer to are re Tommy Mair giving his name as quoted above, nothing more.Wondered why it needed a new thread is all.

I'll allow mikey to explain himself.

I give in Mikey, where have you heard those words before?
This is just a lead up to one of Mikey's endless diatribes against Britain First, an organisation which would be rightly ignored if he did not give them the oxygen of publicity.
Mikey,//Now...where have I heard those words before ? //

I don't know. Where have you heard those words before?

Oops! I forgot. You're showing off and not talking to me. Maybe you'd be kind enough to answer Baldric who asked the same question. :o)
Mamyalynne
NO. I was not including you in what I wrote.
Mikey does not talk to anyone; he talks down to everyone.

Mikey, if you're not talking to Naomi I promise not to tell her what you say.

Well, the word "traitor" is constantly bandied about here on AB, against anyone that refuses not to be xenophobic and rabidly anti-Muslim.

Another one that comes along at regular intervals is "anti-British"

Its got nothing particularly to do about Britain First, and neither do I think that BF had anything to do with the murder. But its fairly obvious where Mair has picked up his opinions and cracked thinking from....the Far Right.

He obviously isn't in any way contrite for what he has done, judging by his conduct in Court today.
You couldn't make it up!
Baldric, :o)

Mikey, the words you have heard some where before were
"Death to traitors, freedom for Britain"
and not the load of old pony you've just come out with!
//Well, the word "traitor" is constantly bandied about here on AB, against anyone that refuses not to be xenophobic and rabidly anti-Muslim. //

that may be your perception, there may be a grain of truth in it. but in your question you specifically mentioned the reported words of the accused in the Jo Cox case, "Death to Traitors". As far as I know, nobody on this forum has ever threatened death to another user, have they?
Question Author
Mush....no, they haven't but the words "Traitor" and "Freedom for Britain"
are used constantly.
...and your point is???

Jack, give him time to stop spinning!
Question Author
If the person in this photo is Mair, then BF would appear to have influenced his opinions :::::
