Obviously this woman's religion has nothing to do her presenting skills and there is no reason she should not be on the show.

When the Christians in Northern Ireland were killing and blowing each other up, they did not avoid having Presenters who were Christian reading the news.

Can you imagine a situation where news programmes excluded white presenters from reporting on the Oscar Pistorius trail, or black presenters reporting on the latest police shooting of a black person in America or Fiona Bruce reporting on lanky boring women?

It would be insane.

I don't think that there are that many people who would have really paid attention to the presenter...the story is way too big for that.
