in the other article the German commentator said - our new guests - dont speak German, dont understand German culture and summat else
they also cant swim - and 35 refugees have drowned this year
which is more than the islamists have zeroed with bombs guns and knives this year ( in Germany )
would you go up to a pot bellied naked German and say

//I have experienced and commented on many times the simple fact that irony does not travel well in printed communication - especially if used by someone who does not tend to use it often enough to be a recognised character trait.
It can, as you advise, be better left alone, and posters sticking to what they mean, unless they can make their irony un-missable, which can be done, but then becomes a bit clunky, and thus removes the point.//
Perhaps your irony as well as your humour be best left out of your posts. :-)

It has often been suggested that Saudi Arabia has been less than accommodating to their own Arab people who enjoy similar religion,culture,language,climate. Saudi has pots of money and more importantly.... Space....!
