We don't have a statute of limitations on murder in this country. Only a few weeks ago Christopher Hampton was convicted of Melanie Road's murder. I think it's great that such cases are not closed, and with advances in detection techniques, the chances of closing the loops grow every year.

Pl0d/CPS know the guilty but they cannot prove it, any new info that comes out should be utilized as far as possible. The purps have lived their scumbag lives whilst the victim had his snuffed out. If we can put these low lives away despite the activities of their parasitical lawyers then I don't care how long it takes. Perhaps I worded my headline wrongly.

I agree no murder enquiry should be closed along with child abuser cases, but I fail to see why certain one's are given priority over others, after all there are already two serving life sentences for this murder.

Any murder case where there are perpetrators ( known or unknown ) at
large , should not be closed , but left on the back burner , for the simple treason that evidence ,might come to light in the future , which can help to convict the perpetrators

The point I am making is that where someone is walking free after committing such a serious crime, there should be no point at which they should feel they can relax.

Not really but at least it is a start, much more than can be said for the vast number of now forgotten murder cases, where no one has yet been convicted.
