Is It Now Time For The Tv Weather Forecast To Be Axed Altogether?

Seeing that they are persistently wrong with their forecasts and most of us can forecast what the weather for that day is going to be like, by just looking at the sky in the morning, plus the fact that we only just need to check our smart phones for the forecast.

A weather stick is a new one on me. Although I think i can more readily lay my hands on a rock than piece of balsam fir tree in my neck of the woods.

they're mostly right, and smart phones won't be any righter. The UK is subject to changeable weather, what with being sandwiched between a huge landmass and a huge ocean..

No not really I live in a typical English place, not many left though I must admit. :-)

Supposed to have a few hours of moderate rain tomorrow, Friday. Much as I have enjoyed this week's weather in Surrey, my garden, which has been shown on Gardener's World and various magazines, DESPERATELY needs rain. I don't use sprinklers as many of my very rare plants are brittle.

For once will the forecast be correct?

The only forecast im interested in is the local weather in Bristol, I couldn't care less how wonderful the Bbc is telling us its going to be in London, as if it the only place in the uk.

On a side note why are we not given the forecast for Ireland, for instance I may be heading there within the next 24 Hrs.

Islay yes you are perfectly right it was your mother in law and not your grandmother, my mistake.

I am always willing to apologise when as in this instance I have made a mistake.
