My hard earned would be on Corbyn. Not because he wont win an election but because I really do think he is speaking the minds of many of his Parties core voters.
If he wins will labours Blairites pack in the sniping and rally round him?

It is difficult to remember the time before the Blairite machinations to ensure power-at-any-cost and when there was a determinaton in the Labour party to assist those at the bottom of the pile......however, inept and misguided the attempts to do so proved to be.
It would be nice to see the Blairites create their own breakaway party which could then bite itself to death and disappear unmourned.

I think the best thing for those who wish to see a labour government again , would be for Mrs May to call a snap election ; which she would win .
Labour would lose - Corbyn would be ditched and a credible leader put in place .
The longer Corbyn is leader, the longer labour will remain in the wilderness
It's perplexing why corbynites can't see that they on to a loser

I think Corbyn will win, although I think he should stand down. He hasn't the trust or authority of the majority of his elected MPs.
We have in Mrs May, the makings of one of the most reactionary Tory for many years, and we need an opposition to oppose it, and at present we haven't got that.
I have a feeling that Labour could be setting itself up for a split.

May is being compared to TGL, probably because she is a woman which I guess is also why she is being view by quite a few as reactionary.
I dont think she is, but then again for me the jury is still out on her.
But regardless of her, the opposition should be in there ensuring the Government of the day dont go off on one. We dont want labour sitting there powerless to stop obscure or single minded policies like the Tories allowed Blair to do.

I like Corbyn's policies, such as opposing the Iraq war - but the public clearly don't, since they supported the war and voted the PM of the day back into power. (Though just try to find anyone who admits they did it...)
Essentially, that's still the case: I like his policies but the great middle class don't. Also, Corbyn had a huge chance to make his mark over the referendum and went into hiding instead. So if Labour want an electable PM they'd better vote Smith. I'm not one, so it doesn't bother me.

I admire Jeremy Corbyn as an honest and committed politician - but that does not make him an electable leader in an election.
He will win the vote, and they will be forced to ditch him, or lose again when the next General Election comes round.
Foot ... Kinnock ... Milliband ... you'd think they'd learn, but they seem not to.
