This story is why I am against unfettered migration. There are some on here who constantly tell us we have our own indigenous Scroungers ... what is their opinion on this story I wonder?

Yes, we have our own indigenous Scroungers who have not paid into teh system too. But two wrongs don't make a right. We should be trying to reduce the perceived reliance on benefits and housing regardless of family size/circumstances but I am not sure anyone has found an acceptable way forward. Maybe in time we will not have as many migrants taking advantage of our system but for at least the next 3 years it seems we are stuck with current EU rules about entitlement to benefits for EU citizens here

If they elected to return, do you think that the French would allow them back. Don't forget we are not in the free movement Schengen zone, never were, but it did not prevent a family originally from Cameroon from pitching up and being entitled to housing and benefits. Do the people who process these claims make decisions based on their own political beliefs? Will the house that has been turned down be allocated to a British born family? There are 10,000 people on the housing list in Luton, yes 10,000. It would be interesting to know what the ethnic breakdown is of this list, and how long people have been on it. One thing I could confidently predict is that the ethnic blood born British people on the list have been on it for the longest. This family have been found accommodation and offered a 5 bedroom house by Luton Council in the space of 4 years. Just to rub salt in the wounds it says that Mr Subes university course is being paid for by......... The N.H.S. Tell that to our medical students and junior doctors. Do your children or grandchildren get help with their medical studies? I know mine didn't.

By the way the university course costs..........£9,000 a year. Is this a 2,3,5,10, year course??
