well said ag.
//No need to get your knickers in a twist//

He says, whilst taking his off over his head.
The whole situation is horribly ridiculous. Where did we get caught-up in such semantics? These are bad people, get rid of them, punish them. I don't really care how they got here - I don't want them here.
There has been any amount of threads previously discussing the heinous crimes of murder, rape and serious assaults from individuals from their own country.

These threads usually attract maximum condemnation such as the sentence was far too lenient and even cries to bring back capital punishment.

Astonishingly, when migrants commit similar offences, some folk attempt to deflect and play down their crimes as if we should recognise where they have come from and merits them some kind of understanding.

These absurd comparisons and false arguments swerve the truth of the matter which is that some migrants have no intention of integrating into society and are hellbent on carving their own malevolent identities.

I think the problem on AB is that some expect us to condemn one and all because of the actions of some.
I would have liked to have said that, ag, but I'm over limit, drink-wise. AP needs to get over his visceral hatred of AOG, condemning every thing he posts.
:)
//I think the problem on AB is that some expect us to condemn one and all because of the actions of some.//

And some use the plight of the genuinely vulnerable to condone or justify the actions of the wicked and dangerous.
Very well said, Togo.
if you are referring to my posts, ag then I assure you I would not wish to play this or any other crime down. I have never said any such thing.
It's clear though that AOG and others on here cherry picks cases to focus on dreadful crimes by migrants when there are far more crimes of a dreadful nature committed by non-migrants. To be consistent if AOG is really concerned for victims he should be posting on all such crimes regardless of the status/kin colour of the alleged perpetrators. Now if there are some statistics showing crime by migrants is significantly higher than by non-migrants - and that may well be the case statistically- then that would be a valid concern but I have not seen any info on this from AOG.
@ FF

I was not referring specifically to your threads. I have read so many threads on a similar theme from various contributors that leaves me in no doubt that they are underestimating the scale of the immigration crisis. Some refuse to even accept that there is even a crisis!

More sick of AOG chasing his tail...
What you mean by 'apologise for immigrants' divebuddy? Are you able to give me an example of where I have apologised for immigrants when they have committed an awful act?
fiction-factory, 1000 women assaulted in one night in Cologne, more in other European cities, then we have Rochdale and Oxford, etc., etc., and now this. How much more evidence would you like? You’re in denial.

Ummmm, this isn't about AOG and nor should it be. Europe has a serious problem on its hands.
AOG acknowledged just the other day that his threads have a slant towards issues of Immigration and Islam.

These issues have also dominated the media for some time and are topics which are uppermost in people's minds and rightly so and is not likely to change any time soon I suspect.

If we continually highlight the crimes of home grown nationals we are seriously at risk of taking our eyes off the ball to the real threat, that is that attempting to integrate too many people of different nationalities and religion are going to lead to the breakdown of settled communities.

We ignore these threats at our peril.

ag- I certainly haven't said there is no immigration crisis- there are huge problems with Calais, with the people trafficking and a culture of people here who seem to despise the British way of life and a culture that may never integrate, and no-one in authority seems to know how to deal with it in a practical realistic way. However there are of course benefits from immigration too in some areas - eg doctors until such time as we can train and keep enough of our own and some immigrants make a good contribution.
/some immigrants make a good contribution. //

And some most definitely don't.
