He was appealing to Labour voters, does he not realise that brexit was delivered by millions of Labour voters? Not exactly encouraging them is he! Why can the remainiacs not accept democracy?

Something to do with the shock of realising that people don't always agree with you? Remainiacs are mainly from the 'coddled' generation and I've put a lot of thought into this. They've been brought-up to feel secure and important --- freedom is just the opposite of secure.... and can be dangerous.
Whilst the older generation is alive we are probably the only generation capable of delivering Brexit - I'm rather proud of that. :)

I'm not a supporter of Lib Dems but I'm not sure that some of the posters listened to what he said and immediately default to the "sour grapes" position. He accepted that the public voted for Brexit , including in his own area, even though he had campaigned for Remain. He did say he wished it had not been the result but he accepted it. What he did say was that there should be a vote on the proposed deal- I don't think I agree with that but there is some logic to it.
Yes, TTT. he accepts it but chose to let the audience know (probably knowing that's what they wanted/expected to hear) he was very concerned about it. He is not seeking to stop the negotiations though I can't find anything in what he said that leads onto the " Why can the remainiacs not accept democracy"
in your OP.
I can't remember exactly what you said on the night of the result when there was a story that Remain seemed to have won and Farage had apparently conceded defeat, but I think it was at least as strong a statement as "horrific reality"
