What form of community service would you suggest he is assigned if convicted? Perhaps he will get sentenced to jail and serve time at North Sea Camp open prison, it has a prison farm with 650 pigs to be looked after! They always have jobs 'shoveling pig s**** ' available for inmates at £3.50 a day !

///Hopefully the sentence will be effective and he will come out a changed man///
'The eternal optimist'
I'm flattered that you've tried to quote me again Baldric, but you seem to have omitted the rest of the sentence where I said "but I wouldn't be surprised if we hear of him again"
You may also have overlooked my earlier post where I said "he doesn't seem to be the type of person who will reflect on his behaviour and come back as a model citizen"

Speaking in court immediately after sentencing, Henderson, who the court was told suffered with bipolar disorder.
And he say's that he's going to keep his religious views to his self from now on.

Last word from me on this thread about this obnoxious man but I thought it would be rude not to point out to respond to naomi when she queried my challenge to her statement that someone in 2013 was spared jail for rape because of his Muslim upbringing. You may want to read your own article again, naomi, and read my answers again. He was not spared jail because he was a Muslim. His 'Muslim' defence did not succeed - the judge said the 'rapist' knew what he was doing was wrong. The judge gave a suspended sentence and specifically said he wasn't sent to prison because he was naive and borderline juvenile and may be abused in a jail. It is not even certain anyone in these circumstances would have been sent to jail anyway as it was a consenting relationship (but nevertheless statutory rape ).
Of course you could believe it was just a liberal left judge who wanted to be soft on Muslims but didn't want to say so publicly.
Anyway, that's my last word on this. It's very difficult to have meaningful discussions here when so many of us have entrenched views and threads are often derailed by personal comments. If I stay out it'll save me and the handful of posters who seem to follow me round and have a dig at what I say (or say I've said things I haven't said) from spoiling the thread for others
