For example, in 2015 it shows 208 White background , 114 Black African or Carribean and 41 of "other" backgrounds. Now for a department that so loves percentages it does not tell us how many of the total relative numbers in the sample groups these final numbers are taken from. IE What percentage of Soldiers from White backgrounds compared to Soldiers from Black backgrounds.
“Pongo - What has being a team player got to do with reacting to weather conditions?”
Nothing. But a team player would not then blame the team’s manager when he slipped over on a wet pitch.
This chap wasn’t suitable for military service. There’s no shame in that; few of us are and we must be grateful to those who do undertake dirty and dangerous missions on our behalf that they are prepared to do so. It’s Mr Rawlings’ reaction after his deficiencies were discovered that annoy me. Instead of simply accepting he was not cut out to be a soldier he has to make a big deal out of it. It is quite clear when one enlists for military service that, even in training, you will find yourself in uncomfortable, hazardous and dangerous situations. You’re not applying for a clerical job in the Civil Service. It does not seem that Mr Rawlings has suffered lasting damage that has made him unemployable elsewhere. He has enrolled for university and whilst that is no indicator that he could be employable it certainly shows that he is not housebound.
Of course the court case will determine whether the Army was negligent in not ensuring he was kept warm and snug and to what degree, if any, Mr Rawlings deserves compensation. Inappropriate civil liability laws will be used to judge the matter. But to my mind he is a chancer looking for a lottery win.

/// Oh AOG I would never tell you what ethnic group I belong to as you have already shown your racist attitude towards me when you presumed I was an immigrant!! ///
Remove that chip from your shoulder, I have never shown a racist attitude towards you, just a general attitude that I show to all those who show the type of hostile attitude, that you show on a permanent basis.
/// But don't worry your always top of my list! ///
If that is referring to your hate list, then you do surprise me, since it is only recently that you informed me of the fact, that you didn't hate me.
