It's not 'these people' - it's one individual who has obviously misinterprerted the requirements of his faith in terms of prayers, and when it is appropriate to complete them.
//Will they ever integrate? //
Who is 'they' - it's one individual.
//And why wasn't he fired? Oh hang on I can guess. //
He may well be - give it time.

It was, as anyone with a reasonable view of the circumstance agree, a particularly crass and irresponsible thing to do.
But that does not parlay into sensibly questioning why Muslims pray, or to raise a question of integration.
Both those are utterly irrelevant to the situation, and the way it has been dealt with.

//What utter overblown rubbish. //
maybe a little DM hyperbole, but the BBC covered it too - http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ news/uk -englan d-hamps hire-37 643714
the location, eastern road, is the main non-motorway route in and out of portsmouth and is busy all day, every day. there are no parking refuges or shoulders and the road has double yellows throughout its length. a large vehicle stopping here would represent a serious obstruction and/or collision risk. further, the driver stopped less than 3 miles from the party's destination. belief beggared.
