^ Absolutely agree Birdie

' of non-thinking vulnerable cretins' - Useful idiots.

The bbc's coverage of pre & post referendum Brexit are good examples
The day when HIGNFY is censored will be a sad day for everybody.

But handsome is as handsome does in my book, and if people want to censor what the BBC says about Trump, then perhaps they should re-think where their own loyalties lie.
This thread is humorous...
it does appear to be based on a complete misunderstanding, ummmm.
'Have I Got News For You' is news, the clue is in the title (unless being pedantic and claiming it's a question). But it is surely not news that Trump is perceived as a RichardHead anyway ? Maybe it was confirmation of rumour ?

I think most comedy shows tend to have a go at Trump, he is such an easy target. It's not just the BBC. For example, 'The Last Leg' is a programme broadcast by Channel 4 and they were hardly being complimentary.
That is just fuel for the fire O.G.

^ That bit
Though the BBC presenters are suited, booted and coiffeured, that doesn't reflect what the majority of the employees are like. My son has to occasionally deal with them and describes them as 'young gormless *** wearing baseball caps back to front'.
Not only are they anti-Trump their coverage of Brexit was (and pathetically still is) outrageous.
Their greatest fear is that the government would remove their charter and thereby the loss of their huge unwarranted salaries, so they tend to act as a mouthpiece for the government of the day.
Perhaps things might change under Mrs May's administration.
calling Trumpo a dickhed and not an old fert
there's a pun to complain about

we also on Baghdadi Broadcasting Corp - that is TMF's name for the Beeb a few years ago - a Nicola Sturgeon headline illustrated by a gorilla
which the hacks smirked over and did NOT look serious enough when they said it was an undeliberate error

and this morning would you believe ( yes the average ABer would ! ) they led over the death of Jean Alexander aged 90. "Ninety year old dies" I mean is THAT news ? as YMF would say: " Gawd help us all! ( ven )( yeah) ( innit) "

I think the smirking might be over the rumour that Trump shares with Clinton the belief that if the girl ..... then it wasnt sex - hence dickhed
There are some people you just can't help giggling over.
I just hope we're still giggling on Nov 9
There will be nothing at all to giggle about on Nov 9 ... that is a certainty!
This thread has to be a wind up!
Perhaps in 4 years time Michelle Obama could be persuaded to stand. She has more dynamism in her little finger than either of the two current protagonists and she could hardly be any less dynamic than her now "lame duck" husband.
Oh dear......

I don't think I'd have returned to this thread either if
Oh dear......

I don't think I'd have returned to this thread either if I'd made such a plonker of myself.

Great actress too.

The BBC is the propaganda arm of the UK Government, particularly on foreign policy. No Political Party of either persausion is going to kill its own mouthpiece.
Baldric: //The BBC Nine O'Clock News was the flagship BBC News programme. It was launched on 14 September 1970 and ran until 13 October 2000, when it was controversially replaced by the BBC Ten O'Clock News.
Wiki.//

whoever wrote that on Wiki might have misremembered: it wasn't the replacing of the nine o clock news that was controversial - rather the ITN offering had become "news at when?" and the BBC filled the resultant gap.

The BBC didn't move the 9 o clock news to 10 to fill a gap. The moved it because it was in prime time and and a ratings loser.
If you want to get a better picture of what's going on, watch RT as an antidote to the BBC, Ch.4 and SKY. Yes, it may be biased somewhat towards Russia, but that's not a bad thing and it isn't only about politics, it's an excellent channel with some interesting debates I find.
