The article states that: According to the latest figures there's been a 41 per cent jump in the amount of asylum claims in the past year with people flooding in from Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Eritrea, Afghanistan and Syria respectively.

Why Pakistan, are they not part of the commonwealth?

And what is stopping the relatives of those who are now bona fide British subjects, from visiting them on holiday, then claiming asylum, and later offered £2,000 and a flight back home, by the British government?

Nice cheap holiday if you can get it.
