belladonner....alas, they will fade and die with or without Farage, as the Party is dead in the water.

Suzanne Evans will only make herself look even more ludicrous if she continues with the thankless task of leading UKIP.

She should go back to the Tory Party, from whence she came. She is on a complete hiding to nothing trying to herd cats from within UKIP.
Question Author
How about a little bet on Evan's future, if she wins the leadership !

The current record for the least amount of time spent in the job is 18 days.
Why on earth would you put 'alas' in your above post , mikey?
Question Author
Slip of the keyboard Talbot !

But I like ridiculing UKIP....I know, I know...you probably haven't noticed !
mikey get your 1997 VHS out and watch please. you are getting obsessed with UKIP. i can understand you not wanting to look at Labour currently so have a nice reminisce over the Blair glory days eh!
Question Author
TTT....I don't need to look at any VHS tape, as the moment when the Tories were reduced to only 165 MPs will be etched on my memory for ever !

I am not sure if AB was around then, but I wonder what would have been the reaction on here if it had ? What would all our right-wingers have been using as excuses for why the Tory Party lost so badly, in such a landslide ?

And then Labour going on to win a further 2 Elections ?

In the mean time, I sincerely hope that UKIP will continue to give us all such good comedic value, with its punch-ups and continual quarrelling....its never a dull moment in UKIP-World !

/// alas, they will fade and die with or without Farage, as the Party is dead in the water. ///

Well if you are right mikey at least you will then be able to get some sleep.
ah mikey, you don't understand Tories do you. We are nothing if not pragmatic, after 1997 we simply started again and rebuilt. We accept the decision of the voters. Unlike the left who just name call anyone who does not agree with the pre ordained view on any given subject. the brexit vote is a prime case, the public are labelled retarded for daring to want us out of the EU tyranny. trendy luvvies run around chomping sour grapes trying to find ways to wriggle out of it. You keep attacking UKIP but they have been the most successful party in history. They are formed for one purpose and they have achieved it. Name another party that has done that? The leader is irrelevant because their work is done, they simply have to keep the PM honest and make sure we do in fact extricate ourselves from the EU. Meanwhile Labour have a leader hated by the PLP and love by their grass roots voters must be very frustrating knowing they'll be in the wilderness for a generation.
Question Author
AOG....you misunderstand me.....I actually enjoy watching UKIP making a fool of itself !
Question Author
TTT...you have a very short and selective memory.

The Tory Party had an official policy to REMAIN, so its no use you trying to change history by saying that it was just Labour that advocated to stay. The PM at the time, Mr Cameron, led the campaign, so don't be so disingenuous.

I accept the result of the Referendum, as I have said many times on here. But lets not forget that one of the immediate consequences of the Referendum, was the loss of a Tory PM, and a Tory Chancellor, less than 12 months after winning the 2015 Election.

Anybody heard anything from Osborne recently ?
err where have I said anything about the official policy of any party? I was responding to your point about the 1997 election. The clue is in the phrase "after 1997".

Well let us all hope that UKIP will swiftly recuperate, and go on to become stronger and stronger, so that you can continue with your quaint enjoyment.
But hasn't Labour made a fool of itself lately too ??
Question Author
TTT....you clearly implied at 11:00 that it was only left-wingers that were on the REMAIN side and I am pointing out that it was in fact, anything but.

The Referendum was called by Cameron and the Tories....not by Farage and his single MP, and was supported by the vast majority of MP's, including Tory ones, 185 of them.

I have acknowledged that UKIP has been successful in its one and only policy and aim, so why is still hanging around like a bad smell ?
Question Author
AOG......I can confidently predict that UKIP will never "swiftly recuperate"

The Party has had years to do that and still hasn't.

They are a undisciplined shower and long may they continue to offer us the opportunity to enjoy the spectacle.
the referendum was forced on Cameron by the strength of UKIP prior to 2015. Cameron bought no 10 with a promise to have the vote. Like many, including me, he thought remain would win. So with barely setting foot in parliament UKIP has achieved it's primary aim. How many parties can ever say that?
I will always be grateful to Nigel Farage for his part in Brexit.
"They are a undisciplined shower" - remind you of any other party mikey?
//they are an undisciplined shower...//

do you know any other party leaders who are apologists for those accused of a history of sexual violence? and condemned for same by their own party?
