/// No, I've seen the documentaries on TV. The only recipient of benefits in the UK are uneducated indigenous species! ///
You must be very naive if you think that our media would be so non-political correct by criticising our ethnic minorities.
You know they only like to criticise their own.

TWR - //I though having more than one wife is Illegal in the UK! how the feck do these tribes get away with this, Is it because the Government pay it out of the sheer mortal Tax, this Country's getting to something. //
No, it's illegal to marry more than one wife in the UK, it is not illegal to come to the UK with more than one wife if you have married your wives in a country where laws permit polygamy.
I refer you to Khandro's link - it's in the first paragraph.

//The family could be receiving more than £320,000 a year in benefits according to a financial manager on the Employers’ Association website//
OK so no confirmation of the story no proof so what is the point of the story other than scare mongering!
This is very much like a story I saw recently in a jewish newspaper about an beautiful blonde haired blue eyed Swedish boy attacked by muslim immigrants. On further investigation the story was actually a welsh girl attacked by her fathers dog 4 years ago!
The point of this is don't believe everything you read in the paper!

But as I read it this is breaking Islamic laws/rules/traditions isn't it ? "Under Islamic tradition, the 49-year-old can have up to four wives – as long as he can support them financially." If folk are getting the State (i.e. everyone else) to support them then they, themselves, are not doing the supporting; and so they are not allowed to have them.

I am guessing here, but I would suggest that, in common with all religious teaching, this edict can be stretched to permit almost all circumstances.
So, as long as the wives are 'being supported' - i.e. not starving, then the edict can turn a blind eye to exactly who is actually doing the supporting - that being the sort of minor detail that religious teachings for all faiths overlook so that people can suit themselves.

///Germany does not legally recognise polygamy, meaning that Ghazia A was forced to choose a “main wife” so the rest of the family could claim benefits. The other three wives are categorised as “friends” of the Syrian migrant///
///He expressed an interest in working again but noted his commitments to his family made this difficult.
He told German newspaper Bild: "In our religion it is my duty to visit every family and to be with them.”///

The way the story reads is that the man claims for one wife, the other women are being treated as separate claimants just as any single woman would - they are spilt up.
So is the problem the fact of polygamy or the fact that none of these adults are working to try and support the family.
It certainly is a high if estimated cost to the German taxpayer.
