I am not seeing that on the video. She fell over. She had been inciting crowds on previous days, and the police had taken her 'address'. Not sure about frail part either. She was unsteady on her feet due to being over weight.

Los Angeles Times report:

The big man in the white t-shirt appears to have grabbed her arm before she tumbled over, but it’s difficult to tell. She doesn’t look particularly overweight to me. Whatever happened, the crowd didn’t cover itself in glory.

Now that I am able to view full screen, I take back the overweight bit, she just has a baggy top.

I think she took a bit of a football-style dive.

As she lands on the floor, she seems to "settle" herself into a dramatically "pushed over" sort of position.

Then, when her trolley moves a bit, her hand moves up and grabs it (pretty firmly for an unconscious woman).

I don't think we should read much at all into this rather silly video.

Difficult to tell. A few seconds before that she raises her arm, elbow bent. It looks like she's fending him off. Whatever happened, there's no doubt he was harassing her.

Jayne's right: this (not all that old if you look closely through the disguise) should be a premier league footballer. The dive is pretty unconvincing, but the real cringeworthy it is the half hearted huddle into a ball.
If that's not a deliberate provocation (conveniently filmed I wonder by who) then I'm Donald Trump's love child. The sort of thing you'll only find on a rabid Trump website: so self respecting news channel, and I include Fox News in that, would touch it with a barge pole.

At 3:17 the woman seems to grab her trolley and pull it down with her.

I can see her raise her arm to get a grip on the handle of her trolley, in order to pull it over when she goes for a dive.

Also worth noting how she lies seemingly unconscious until she detects a movement of the trolley (caused by a foot), and she suddenly has presence of might to grab and grip it. It's a miracle.

Why she raised her arm is unclear. Her performance on the ground was worthy of Hollywood though.
