Clearly Labour are on their knees at the moment so can UKIP pick up more disaffected Labour voters? Labour Voters in the North are particularly unrepresented at the moment.

//UKIP only has one seat at Westminster//

I see you are all happy with FPTP now. Only a few days ago you were not happy and bleating popular vote. Still I suppose this suits you weird agenda.

I think Talbot has got it right, Mr Corbyn is what Labour should fear.
YMB...I have always supported FPTP....when have I not ?

TTT asked the question...."should Labour be concerned ?" And I have pointed out that Nuttall has had 3 opportunities, in his own patch of the North West, to beat Labour and failed miserably every time.

Now that Farage has chosen to ride off into The West, we will see where UKIP will go without its only real asset and figurehead.

My best guess is that it will continue to decline and lose any claim to relevance in the future.
When I saw Farage on TV yesterday making his new leader announcment, I thought it was to a packed audience, but when I saw it later on another prog and the camera was facing the audience there were more empty seats than accupied ones
Oh, I don't know Gulliver. The meeting doesn't look too badly attended.

Are you sure you were watching the right programme?
Farage is thinking of moving to the USA to Live full time. so that will be the end of UKIP , he will probably form a USIP .
Gulliver....I am told that English Butlers, are very much valued in America these days.........could there be a vacancy at one of the Trump residences perhaps ?
He scares you. ;o)
It's often overlooked that one reason UKIP polled so many votes at the last election is because they took votes from the Lib Dems. In many seats the voting figures were largely unaffected for the two main parties : it looked like it was the Lib Dem vote had gone largely to UKIP. Presumably because for many people the Lib Dems had been a protest vote, now going to a different 'third party' partly because the Lib Dems were now part of the 'establishment'
So if significant numbers of voters in Labour seats defect to UKIP it will in many cases be a new phenomenon
