Yes, Stearic acid is the main one. But it is a 'Mould release agent' it is put on the moulds that form the plastic so that they do not stick after moulding. But it is not in the formulation of the plastic itself. There may be traces left on the surface of the plastic though.
Also used for the same reason, on moulds for rubber items, both natural latex and and Hydrocarbon, so traces on everything from Car tyres and rubber gloves to condoms!

Yes, as I pointed out at 21.34. They had better not sell or stock any items that have been transported in vehicles with rubber tyres. Not use rubber or latex gloves in the kitchen or rely on condoms for birth control!
Better not use many drugs either as Stearic acid ( Sodium Stearate) is widely used in medicine again as a mould release agent for capsules , which are moulded from gelatine another animal product!

eddie "Plastic is made from oil , Hydro Carbon oil same as petrol and diesel, NOT animal oil T T T. " - yes and what made hydro carbon oil eddie? yep dead sea creatures, so oil is a major animal product!
Danny, i think the confusion has arisen because the owners claim to be veggie but their "no animal products" stance is a trait of Vegans so we are not really sure. If they where standard veggies they would not be objecting to all animal products.
