Surely if you are going to ignore the democratic will of the majority then you'd better be thick skinned enough to take a little ire.

52% of the public (who voted), voted for Brexit - ergo, 48% did not. Allowing for constituency splits, this at any rate still means that there are people who did not vote to leave the EU who should be represented in Parliament. MPs who vote against it are, therefore, absolutely not blocking the will of the people, or any other flawed description of representing a minority you'd care to come up with.

Put another way, I have as much right to be heard in Parliament as you do. Of course, the end result should be a majority vote in favour of Brexit, but not a unanimous one. That is all.
I don't remember Scotland having a vote on wether to stay or go re the EU.

Must have missed it ... What was the catchy name for it ... Scexit????

yes jim but that is also true in every seat in the land, varying amounts of people did not vote for their MP so they are not represented, that seems not to bother anyone.
Depends on the MP -- they can still listen to the views of people who do not vote for them, and may put those concerns across or take them into account in coming to his decision. Of course, one person voting once on any issue can only represent one side, and in the end it seems sensible to go in favour of the majority. That is not in dispute. But the minority isn't "treacherous" for standing up for its own beliefs.
Corbyloon is the only person who seems to have grasped the nub of what the "whining" is about.
Am I the only person fed up to the back teeth with Twitter and the tedious and nasty stuff that goes on there - from all sides?
Just start looking at the twitter jokes sections. Ch00ch, internethippo (who's stopped posting but has some godo stuff up still), pat tobin, all that lot.
Twitter is a tool of the Devil. Best ignored.

Did the Tweeters do any research before Tweeting?

///The tweets accused 14 Labour MPs, none of whom appear to have voted in the debate, of being "out of touch with ordinary working people".///
ichkeria....no, you are not alone !

Twitter should be left to silly little teenagers and left alone by the Politicians.
Especially ones that purport to run a Press Office?

Didn't a previous Tory PM once say, live on Radio 4, that too many tweets, might make a *** ?

Enjoy ! ::::::
