Yes it could since we along with America disturbed the hornets nest, but we seem more safe than others, since our terrorists are mainly home grown and of course we have an excellent anti terrorist squad working on good intelligence

The more recent terrorist attacks have been mainly focused on Germany and France, and since they didn't take such an active part in nest disturbance, their troubles must be down to the ridiculous Schengen open border agreement .
