"They" will soon be on Webbo, the apologists, making excuses for the unforgivable. You know the script,....we don't know yet, faulty lorry, the driver was ill, urgent delivery gone wrong, not allowed a stall at the fayre or made to feel unwelcome. Our fault for being us.

Nine dead and many injured. So sad, it was inevitable they would hit the cowards' favourite targets. I'm surprised that the driver is still alive, shoot to kill is needed.

You forgot mental illness Togo.

Dave.
It's a terror attack alright.

Could be a busy Christmas.

The German police and security, were warned about this happening last week, not that they could have stepped it..

That Merkel has a lot to answer for!!!!
I just used "ill" Dave. Didn't want to be controversial.
When do you think that the governments will start handing out weapons to responsible "members" of the public?

Dam you, I've already give you a best answer, I can't give you two.
It's already a terror attack. Has all the hallmarks of an ISIS inspired attack. Any references to 'mental illness' always comes from the police/authorities in the first instance ather than from anyone on here as far as I know

Surprisingly no mention of the driver being mentally ill, that's unusual!

Ah, there's one now.
>When do you think that the governments will start handing out weapons to responsible "members" of the public?

Police (some)and army already have them. I doubt anyone lese would be given them by any responsible government
Yes Baldric. Webbo mentioned it and Togo mentioned illness first
I have never seen anyone making excuses for terror attacks - what I have seen is the other side being given to balance out incidents where it may not have been a terrorist attack.
But some governments are becoming increasingly irresponsible.
Told ya Webbo.
Why would there be anyone in the passenger seat?
