Well it got you here didn't it.

http://news.sky.com/story/kim-kardashian-robbery-in-paris-16-people-arrested-10722783

Not something I would normally post about but because of the flak and unfair comments this received at the time (many doubted the validity of the robbery)
I thought I would post it in case anyone would like to retract their comments.

Who in their right mind would take $13million in jewellery away with them ....
Question Author
Kim Kardashian
I echo seekeerz comments...daft thing to do in my opinion.

And as its Kim Kardashian, that is about all I can think of to say, or want to say !

Yes best not to say anymore in case that Halo slips again, mikey.
talbot....I care nothing whatsoever for this self-seeking so-called celebrity.

If she lost all that jewellery, than its her fault entirely. She isn't some old lady mugged for her pension money.
I can't remember what, or indeed if I commented when the robbery news was first released - but I am sure it would something to the effect that, pointless though Ms Kardashian's 'fame' is, I would never wish any personal harm on her of any kind.

This news does nothing to add or subtract from that.
I am with Mickey on this one.
Thanks YMB...another of those rare occasions !
I have to take issue with mikey on this point.

I do not believe that the amount of wealth and apparent irresponsible behaviour of any individual makes the fact that they were robbed and terrified any more acceptable, which is what your post implies.

Ms. Kardashian may be famous for being famous, and seriously wealthy, but that does not mean that she should be any more or less vulnerable to robbery and assault than the proverbial old lady being robbed of her pension.

To suggest that such a crime is somehow excusable on the basis of the wealth and notoriety of the victim is to imply that she was deserving of the crime and loss, and than is an abhorrent view to take in my opinion.
Thanks for the update Talbot.
I hope this thread doesn't become a re run of the original one.
Arrested, have they been charged ?
Mikey - are you serious?

Do you think her wealth makes her devoid of human emotions?
How is being robbed "her fault entirely", mikey? Why wasn't she arrested then?

divebuddy - //No. I don't want to retract my comments on the earlier thread. I still think the entire Kardasian clan are a waste of space. //

I am not able to comment on your observations on the earlier thread - so can I ask for a little clarity if I may?

Does your view that the Kardashian clan are 'a waste of space' mean that you disapprove less of the robbery because of who the victim was - which appears to be mikey's position?
Why are they a waste of space? From what I gather, having never watched them, they are all doing something productive.
//The Brigade de Répression du Banditisme (Banditry Repression Brigade) are police special units of the French Ministry of the Interior (Ministère de l'Intérieur). They are in charge of armed robberies, serious burglaries and scams, stolen cars and art thefts.//

The obvious unit to investigate such a crime.
