Okay - this is news (yes, I know there's a thread in Chatterbank, but the best people are in the News thread).

I personally think the AnswerBank redesign is a huge success and well overdue.

The choice of font is perhaps the only element I'd question, but other than that - bravo to the site admins.

See above posts then, Danny. Good luck.
Tilly, yes I am on a laptop but F5 enables/disables touchpad.
ctr and f5 together ?
No danny, just the function key on its own, NOT with the "fn" key pressed as well.
It is , press Ctrl whilst holding that down then press F5, Morning Danny.
Tried that Minty, does not work, enables touchpad,
indeed no touchy fn !!
are you windows ?
Windows 7 professional
I'm so pleased with the new look, catering for the zombies that are on I-phones, tablets (not a suggestion btw) etc... Good job ;-)
I can fly a F-16 but cant navigate oneself to the football section, that's just mean. Seriously It'll just take a little time getting used to it as Gromit said.

ANSWER NOW! yes captain!
Well, I assumed it looked so bad on my PC because it was "mobile first" design, but it's even worse on my phone than on my PC.
simply f5 on its own ?
This is no help but on my keyboard, F7 is the touchpad key. Try F7, Danny.
Minty, f5 on my laptop,as I said, is for enabling touchpad
My only gripe so far is that 2 thirds of the box I'm now typing in is occupied by my avatar, so I'm typing on Eddie Constantine's trilby and fizzer which being tonally dark means I can't read the beginning of each line. Does anyone else have this type of problem? Can it be resolved? and/or must I change my avatar?
What make of laptop danny? I have access to HP and Sony laptops and on both of those you have to press the fn key at the same time as the f5 key to get Function 5. You need to be pressing the ctrl key at the same time as Function5 key to get the effect you're after.
I see several threads mentioning a zoom facility. What is this and isit possible to zoom out making print smaller.
Danny if you can't get that to work (Ctrl + F5) then have a go at clearing your cache and recent history and/or whatever (run CCleaner if you have it), then reboot your computer and see if it's any better.
Bhg, Toshiba, I have tried all ways of using those keys, It does not work.As I have said F5 is for enabling key pad.
donny top right of screen either hamburger 3 vertical lines or 3 dots ..touch on that and a menu will drop down giving you the chance to either mgnify or reduce size
