He does have a point. If UKIP are so desperate as to use Cuckoo methods of gaining seats then they aren't a credible party. If the Stoke electorate see fit to vote him in, that's possibly a sign of their political naivety.

Don't all politicians no matter of what party, aim for 'safe seats'?
No of course not. If that were the case, MPs would have a constituency for life.
Cuckoo methods? Bliar didn't even know where NE England was till he was parachuted into a safe seat.
Nuttall is on unsafe ground here. He is already in trouble over his residency status.

But Snell is right......UKIP are using whatever dog whistle techniques they can.

That is the general idea, but of course it doesn't work all the time.

Typical Labour response, all right for Labour, but well betide anyone else if they do the same.
The sound of fear.
Politics is a tough business, as I am sure Nuttall knows only too well.
Quite right, Naomi. Even if UKIP do not manage to take the seat I think they''ll take enough votes from Labour to let the Tories in through the back door. Either way, it would be a result.
Would anyone vote for someone who can only express himself in such a manner?
Oh yes, Khandro. After all they voted en masse for Prescott.
It says a lot about Mr Snell that he has to resort to insulting his chief opponent.

If he was so confident in winning the seat there would be no need for such abuse.

Completely unnecessary and not a good idea.
I think that what Mr. Snell was trying to say was, "Don't vote for me, I'm an absolute plonker".
//PAUL Nuttall should “sod off back to where he came from” and stop using Brexit to try to win the Stoke-on-Trent by-election//

According to Nuttall, from door knocking the issues people were most bothered about were local ones such as pot holes and damp in homes, not immigration and Brexit!

Are Labour so out of touch with Stoke (and beyond)?
AOG, you think politicians should have a constituency for life?
Oh, and dog fouling!
//Are Labour so out of touch with Stoke (and beyond)? //

Yes, they are.
Especially the 'beyond'.
