There is no doubt, as jack says, that South Africa has serious crime problems based largely, although not entirely, on generations of oppression of black people by the white regime.
No person of any colour should bear the responsibility, much less the revenge, for wrongs that are not of their making, but I return to my original point - remote farms are easy targets, and the ethnicity of the farm owners may not have been a factor in targeting them for this horrible crime.
