Paul Nuttall: Ukip 'mess' Will Take Time To Sort Out
Answers
Digging and barrel scraping are part of the same thing. Like it or not Nuttall is finished more or less before he started. But ukip is in such a state that I doubt it matters much whether he stays or goes.

UKIP has three main problems:
1. It is of no relevance post brexit.
2. It is not really a party, just a personality cult of Mr Farage. UKIP without Farage is nothing.
3. Its popularity has never transferred to ballot box success. It has one MP who fought as the incumbant member. Who looks like leaving (or being pushed) in the not too distant future.

A very sensible letter today in the Daily Mail from a Stuart Bower. He was a UKIP activist in the Hove area.He basically says UKIP were a one issue party and that having succeeded in their aim of winning the referendum vote they should now has he purs it "pick up their demob suits" and leave Mrs May and her government to get on with the negotiations.
UKIP were a curious phenomenon really. Very English in a lot of ways (the name was always very inappropriate). Despite being utterly dysfunctional, their hobbyhorse suddenly became a popular issue, tho without Farage at the helm I doubt they'd have made much of it.
A bit like a bumbling relative who wins the lottery and blows it all :-)

How come you dont put up posts about labours very big issues?
Because there is already a loyal team of Theresettes doing so every day?
As far as Ukip is concenred, it seems Nuttall is the mess: they might have scraped a win in the last by-election with a reliable leader, but Nuttall was regularly being exposed as economical with the truth. His predecessor I think quit after a couple of weeks. I doubt they have any potential leadership material left.
