Like Emmie says we have well women clinics all over the country but it would be very rare for any European women to need the services of FGM clinic.

//There are people (even some women) who think FGM is the equivalent of circumcision.// I have commented on this in another thread. An evil practice against young boys. Tolerated for some bizarre reason.

I haven’t had time to read all the posts but I read the first from sp1814 who says, //Treating victims should take precedent over 'raising awareness'.// and I think he’s wrong. This procedure is, for obvious reasons, carried out secretly and the majority of victims never seek help for their injury. Treating the victims is, of course, important, but in reducing the number of victims, education is paramount. We need to actively address and rectify fundamental beliefs.
