Gness- don't worry, some people struggle for original thought or to contemplate that others may not see things their way and trot out meaningless phrases as put downs. Give if you want to give. Don't if you don't. There is no right or wrong answer. Both views are equally valid
I used to donate money to a handful of charities each month but then decided to stop. I now donate money to the local pussy cat orphanage (local branch of Cats Protection) and volunteer at least one shift a week at a local Oxfam book and music shop.
Do read properly for once, Divebuddy.....I have no problem at all with folk who don't donate....and understand why they don't....of course I do.....I have reasons for not donating to certain charities.
It would just make an interesting thread if those who don't donate to this cause could give a sensible and well posted reason for not donating....one that was informed and made the rest of us think.
Fair enough- I just saw people jumping in on gness and using the silly virtue signalling label. Not sure two wrongs make a right but I know some like to fight fire with fire.
Gness, I gave sensible and, I assure you, extremely well informed reasons for not donating at 23:14 Wed 15th Mar and 23:36 Wed 15th Mar. Whether they made you think is debatable – but perhaps you didn’t read them.
