So where does Trump go from here ?

He reminds me of the story of the little boy who cried wolf....he has told so many lies over the last few months that one day, he is going to come out with something true, but nobody is going to believe him. He is a fantasist.

"failure to prove something isn't in itself proof that an allegation was false. " This is exactly what I said yesterday. That is what makes this sort of wild allegations so pernicious. Trump read something on Breitbart, put 2 and 2 together and made 911 ...

This was reported on a Democrat website yesterday but I didn't like to post it as I wanted to be sure it wasn't those pesky Kenyan-lovers up to no good again :-)
Where does Trump go from here? Probably nowhere: there'll be more nonsense, flailing, wild accusations of conspiracy against him.
Meanwhile the impeachment evidence will continue to be gathered, and Senator Graham's inquiry into the Kremlin connections will carry on quietly amidst all the shouting.
As an aside , i wonder if he will be shown what really transpired / transpires in area 51 , given that he doesn't appear to get on with the people that walk in the shadows

No he isn't a 'fantasist,' he's a conservative that gets things done. The wiretap was revealed by Wikileaks, and so far, nothing released by them has been debunked. I won't even bother clicking on a link by the Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation

Even with a wiretap, Hillary Clinton win the election
Is there no one in the Whitehouse who can advise Trump the difference between lies and the truth?

Lynn....." that gets things done"

Gets what done exactly ? He has been defeated in the Courts over this issue and it appears to be happening again. He has lost some very new Staff, very quickly after being appointed.

He has still to bring a Bill before Congress, relying instead on these Executive Orders, the ones that the Courts keep overturning.

You appear to be living in the same fantasy world as he does !

" The wiretap was revealed by Wikileaks"

Was it? I don't think it was.
Oddly though one thing that wilikleaks DID "reveal" in the middle of all the Samsung and iPhone stuff was ...:
The CIA has a branch dedicated to guess what:
Framing Russia for hacking activities
You couldn't make it up - except I think someone just did :-)
good old trumpster, getting all the lefties in a lather! Go Donald!
It was, sorry to mention it, a Republican who found the wire-tapping cupboard bare :-)
well surprisingly - I think Trump has a point
Flynn had to go because of his Russian contacts
and did FLynn say "Mr President I have contacted the Kremlin and before you say anything - I gotta go"
Trump: first on the left ....

Didnt the FBI and CIA go along to Trump and say Mr President one of your trusted lootenants ( Trump: "first on the left") has been phoning the ruskies

and Flynn said - no I havent - oh OK I might have done

and Trump said 'hey Flynn you gartta go or else I go'
and FLynnsaid : 'o I believe in the White House it is first on the left Mr President'

and how would the CIA and FBI know ?
unless they had been phone tapping ?

as for Obama ordering it
BS - it has to go thro the FISC - court especially set up to give warrants for tapping
// good old trumpster, getting all in a lather! Go Donald! //

I believe in the white house it is first on the left 3T

yeah I agree Trump does get a bit flaky over things like "the president has to uphold the law and not break it"
The point to me is that Trump's undisciplined tweets give - quite unnecessarily - hostages to fortune. A pointless distraction which adds a further impediment (as if one more were needed) to the implementation of his policies.

If the accusation is false don't say it. If the accusation is true (or seems likely) file away for future use.
I feel for Conway and Spicer.
LATEST DEVELOPMENT:

The White House is now claiming that Obama contacted GCHQ (yes - our very own spy agency) and got THEM to provide the wire tap, thereby bypassing the CIA and FBI.

Seriously - Sean Spicer is claiming this.

GCHQ have released this statement:

[i]Recent allegations made by media commentator Judge Andrew Napolitano about GCHQ being asked to conduct "wire tapping" against the then President Elect are nonsense. They are utterly ridiculous and should be ignored.'[i]
TTT

The lefties aren't in a lather.

Maybe laughter rather then lather.

You have to hand it to Trump: he's managed to elicit public scorn from even that blandest of statement issuers: GCHQ
So to be clear...

Trump alleges something. Provides no proof (there is nothing about Trump tower being tapped in the Vault 7 leaks, assuming they are genuine).

Senators in his party investigate. Find no proof.

Therefore it is true?

Should I be relieved or terrified that Mr. Trump has the power to dictate reality through tweets?
