So where does Trump go from here ?
He reminds me of the story of the little boy who cried wolf....he has told so many lies over the last few months that one day, he is going to come out with something true, but nobody is going to believe him. He is a fantasist.

"failure to prove something isn't in itself proof that an allegation was false. " This is exactly what I said yesterday. That is what makes this sort of wild allegations so pernicious. Trump read something on Breitbart, put 2 and 2 together and made 911 ...

"Excuse me is that GCHQ. It's the President of the USA here. Can you do a wiretap for me of Donald Trump. I've cleared it with your government. The tap actually needs to be in a hotel in New York so can you get your guys from the embassy over from Washington to do it.
And don't tell them I said it was from me. Please"

So.....at long last, we have the answer ! There was no wire tap, except in Trumps fevered imagination.
You know, you couldn't make this up !

I mean it seems pretty obvious to me that you cant ring GCHQ ( hey cute logo ) and say
' hello barack o'bama here but call me Barry - can you erm bug trump towers ? I mean I know you are in Gloucester but hell this is the can-do 21st century...'
and all the pukka fellas in Gloucester say 'yeah OK Barry'

It's amazing to me how many ABers have top level security clearance and are privy to all the machinations of the security services.
You all knew that the 'leaks' about Trump's links with Russia were true. 'Leaks' that came as a result of eavesdropping. The same eavesdropping that now never happened.
As Spicer said to a 'journalist' yesterday, 'You have zero intelligence (clearance)'.

No need to ring them, pedro. GCHQ harvest more data than any other organisation in the world. And they have permanent cadre of 250 NSA staff to filter anything of interest to the US. And for some reason, someone, recently decided that all info had to be shared with every other US agency.
It was Barry who did that, of course. Some say because it makes it harder to trace where said info originated.
I haven't got clearance either but I read all that in the Guardian and I know how esteemed their reportage is around here.

How can I put this in words of one syllable (damn failed!)
One employs a measure of common sense and a smattering of attention to the 'fact' that one scenario involves 'stiff' while the latter involves 'nothing' 'nil' 'nada' 'zilch' 'neerdy peerdy'
It's el fako newso.
When the normally straight bats that are the GCHQ press liaison folk suddenly come dancing down the wicket and clout your half-arsed claims over the pavilion roof and into the Bath Road then you realise we're talking cloud cuckoo land Trumpo-style
