of PC Palmer immediately was a hero in my eyes, i wish i could find a link
if anyone knows who he was please post it.
he was ex military and didn't give a thought to his own safety. Sadly he was a friend, colleague of Lee Rigby, another serviceman mowed down in his prime of life.

This was discussed on the radio, and although this chap appeared on a TV interview etc, no body saw him at the scene.

strange then because he was interviewed and told what happened in some detail.

It was the MP Tobias Ellwood that gave mouth to mouth, his face was smeared in blood in pictures all over the papers, do you remember when in 9/11 there was the case of a lady cashing in on a husband being in the building I've no link but I remember it, she was on Oprah and everything else that could shove a microphone at her at the time and she received millions only to be found out to be a liar, they had a term for her, one of these people that want to be associated with tragic events

No one seen him at the scene, I wasn't there so I can't say he's a liar, I only seen the MP, Mr Ellwood with the blood on him and other first responders. I was wondering would he be one of these kind of people who believe they were there if he wasn't

according to the Telegraph piece there were two ex servicemen there, not just the one as i first thought.

I read the link, fair play to him, he dressed wounds and everything - a reluctant hero?

Former Staff Sgt Tony Davis and Captain Mike Crofts rushed to injured policeman and administered combat first aid, applying dressings and pressure to several of his wounds.

Friends of the former servicemen told the Telegraph they had "fought desperately" to save the married father and were "devastated" by his death.

To anyone that helped the other day they were great, it's not what anyone expects to be dealing with on a day out in London, I think I would just freeze with what I would be witnessing

I once possibly saved the life of a woman on a bus, she had keeled over on the seat, so i got the bus to stop and called the emergency services, who arrived quite promptly, no idea if she made it but i couldn't just leave her there.

I really do freeze in serious situations, a hot poker was sizzling into my foot one day when I was a toddler, it took a sibling to say they smelled food cooking before my parents realised the poker fell from the fire, I was standing on the hearth and it burned through me, I never screamed, shock I think, so well done you emmie, I'd like to think your actions saved that lady that day

i have quite literally picked up people lying on the pavement, one bloke was so drunk i thought he was dead. I called the police and ambulance and they came and sorted him out. Its not unheard of to find bodies lying on the ground with people just ignoring them, i couldn't do that, even now.

Not only in your opinion he is a hero and the MP as well both should be recognized as such and rewarded properly ,now who says the British spirit is dead these men show that it's not and we and the country should be extremely proud of them
