It's interesting how politics has developed a new approach over the last couple of years - as a result of the Scottish Independence Referendum, and Brexit.
For generations, votes have been held, and then that's it, everyone gets on with it.
But since the two items mentioned, there is a new approach - the vote is held, and then those who didn't like the result moan loudly at high level and at every opportunity, as though the vote doesn't actually count, and they can still somehow change what has been decided.
I think we need to learn to shut our ears to this nonsense - Brexit is happening, no-one has a script, so no amount of gainsaying - or indeed support-seeking, makes an ounce of difference, we will have to wait and see.
