How do you read this one?

Did he:

A) Decide he wanted to walk away from the reporters' questions?
B) Suddenly realised he needed to be somewhere else?
C) Forget why he was in the room in the first place?

From the expression on his face as Pence tries to stop him, I'm thinking it's A, but I can't be sure.

Can anyone work out what he said (lip-reading)?

I think he badly wanted to wee !
i'm off for a pee, don't wait up..
snap ^^
i think a lip reader would have difficulty reading those strange lips
He said 'yeah, I know i didn't sign it but I'm not going back in there to do it now and look stupid, that would not be great, not fabulous, not the best. Bring it with you.'

I think.
Dougie....the concept of Trump not wanting to look stupid is rather novel.......if that was the case, he wouldn't leave the house !
Not really news, is it?

We live in hope :-)
What a daft question. The article tells you he moved to another room – but why miss an opportunity, eh?

//The President ignored the questions [about his former national security adviser Michael Flynn - wisely in my opinion] and moved to another room, only to be followed by Vice President Mike Pence, who picked up the folders containing the two executive orders.//

Thank you for your answer and judgement on the validity of the question.

However, the point of him being there was to sign the executive order.

If he wanted to sign them in another room, surely the sensible thing would have been to...pick them up and take them with him?
The Vice President picked them up and took them to the other room. Can't really see your problem.
He flounced, without doubt. And he did it because he didn't want to answer any awkward questions.
Mikey, He didn't 'flounce'. He moved to another room. In the circumstances, a wise move - in my opinion.
How is evading the press and any questions a " wise move"?
Is that what presidents do now? Decidedly odd.
A
CNN Politics?
They should rename it CNN Anti-Trump Fake News. (for the hard of thinking)
Pasta....Odd ?.....not where Trump is concerned....yesterdays odd is today's normal !
pastafreak, in difficult circumstances politicians have always done it - or haven't you noticed?
Actually Naomi...No, I haven't. But then maybe other instances have not been picked up by the media. Got any examples?
Pasta...faced with this new scandal, it seems Trump is frightened of answering questions !
