For better or worse the French people have made their choice, why can't the Left accept that?

I know that Muslims are not a race, but as usual I think it is the Muslims you are referring to, if so would it surprise you if some Muslims actually support her?
But then I suppose in your eyes they are racist too?

The election isn't over yet though and Le Pen has not won. There's another round of voting.
Of course, the property damage is idiotic and counter-productive. The protest was not convened in order to damage property, though. There's inevitably thugs who turn up looking for a chance to sh*tstir and cause trouble at any large public gathering. Hopefully they'll be prosecuted.

yes, the left hate it when the people dont vote the wrong way. JTH this is not a legit protest they are hurling missles etc. Mikey, you keep accusing Le Pen of racism and her party the same. Do you have any sort of evidence of that or is she merely committing the cardinal sin among lefties, namely not having the prescribed view on any given subject? Frankly the state of Europe demands someone like Le Pen to sort this whole immigration problem, a subject the left will never deal with until their cosy lives are effected.
Almost bound to be this sort of turmoil when the traditional political powers have ignored the democratic will of the nation's citizens for so long. What else explains the main parties being rejected and extreme candidates going forward ? Extreme capitulation to the EU or extreme right wing intolerance. Given that choice one has to put up with turbulent change for one term, and ax a consequence, emotions spill out from those who can not cope with what they perceive as a nightmare. Blame their past governments and the parties that were in charge for achieving this 'pressure cooker' environment.
