It's just about irrelevant at the moment, unless it means gaining control of our shires - but then to realists of most political persuasions, agriculture and fishing make up less than 2% of our GDP......whereas tourism is 8%.
If you are one of the rurals and fisherfolk, of course it matters....but, overall, it's a flea on all political parties' backsides - needs the occasional scratch though, annoying as fleas can be.
