....to have the funeral of Ian Brady. I wouldn't put that past the authorities either.

I can't imagine he'll get a funeral. A quiet disposal of the ashes - that's all.
The ashes won't be ready for dispersal yet!!!
Couldn't they just dump his ashes in the nearest sewer?

And I agree wholeheartedly with the OP.
I think the 'funeral' is probably over by now. It would just have involved transporting the body to the back door of the crematorium and feeding it directly into the furnace with no ceremony at all. The ashes will just have gone out with the rubbish into landfill .
The nearest sewer sounds fine to me.
Let me take a dump on them first though.
I wouldn't even deign to let my excreta sit on such ashes. Best place for his disposal would be a high-temp and residence environmental plant and bury anything left over, along with other heavy metals and pollutants in the concrete that goes for kerbsides and Motorway dividers.
10Clarion St....with respect...complete tosh.
All that is known about the funeral arrangements for Brady are in this link

There was a delay in releasing the body as no funeral director would accept the body. Manchester council also asked for a guarantee that the ashes would not be scattered anywhere in the city boundaries.
choux...that has nothing whatsoever to do with this thread.
mikey, I have to disagree with you. Just replace the word "bury" with "cremate" and it has a relevance in this thread.
