I've just heard the much loved actor and voice of Wallace (and Gromit) has passed away aged 96.

I recall the line I think was Cleggy's about the moustaches when he was at school:

Yes a great pity, it seems that we are losing our greats far to fast these days and who is there to replace them?

A pity that Peter is only known for the part of Norman Clegg and the voice of Gromit.
