all the partys are equally bad in my opinion sadly, all seem rather weak without cohesion
and to much infighting back stabbing or brown mouths, seems it's always been this way though.
im getting tired of all of it, they promise much but never deliver.

Kval.....it could just be that Naomi hasn't given it enough thought yet...it's still early days.... ;-)
Excellent point Krom - how can any of the Nationalist parties trust a UK Government which is in hock to the DUP?

NI is a mess at the moment - the Tories may just be making that 1000 times worse.
gness, This is not to be a coalition government. Just something for you to think about.
kvalidir at 12.25. Your powers of observation are sadly lacking. I've not given an opinion on this proposal - I've simply posted a fact.
I think the key words in your post at 12:08 are the first four, Naomi
sunny-dave, do you? Read the rest.
Can't see where Gness has said anything about a coalition govt Naomi.
Naomi, I know what a coalition government is and I know what a supply and confidence agreement is...x
I have - you seem (as I have boringly pointed out before) to equate a pact with the SNP to one with the DUP - even you must see what a nonsense that is.

How would you feel if Mr Corbyn was making approaches to the reformed terrorists of Sinn Fein to get into Government - now reverse that to see the outrage that the Tories are inspiring by horse-trading with the DUP.
gness, good, so hopefully you understand the difference.
at the moment they all seem equally bad, but i'd take Mrs May over Corbyn any day
sunny-dave, yes, I am equating it in a minor kind of way. The SNP are, of course, Westminster’s bestest friends so would be really great in an alliance with a minority Labour government.. ;o)

Incidentally, I’m not a fan of the DUP either, but just saying.
I think Gness's use of the words 'in hock' may be the bone of contention here. The cons won't really be 'in hock' to the DUP. As I've commented elsewhere, the party doing the C'ing and S'ing won't have that much influence.
Could be taken that way I guess, Zacs.......but if the definition of in hock is...to be in debt to....to owe then I think I'll stick with it.......there will be a price to be paid......x
The DUP will be treading v carefully Gness. The debt works both ways in this case.
I know, Zacs.....but having seen May in the lead up to the election I'm more than a little concerned about her negotiating skills.....and her leadership qualities now...x
She might not be the person the DUP are dealing with by the end of the week ;-) what an omnishambles.
That's true, Zacs......but who?.....Mind you, I wouldn't object to the DUP having to deal with Boris... :-)

And yes.....a very sad omnishambles....x
i hope for many reasons Boris doesn't take the reins, as much as i like him, don't think he is the man for the job.
Mmm. Boris vs the DUP. Interesting. Jezza now has delusions of grandure (I think the roller coaster of his imagination has gone into overdrive......somebody stop him!). See my post in News.
