No.
No, although this was a very bad issue, it does not get away from the fact the were here illegally.
I've missed something here , is it confirmed illegal immigrants were living at the tower block ?
Just out of interest how would you prove you were living there. If illegal there could be no proper records.

Sounds like it could open the flood gates to many not there. Wouldn't be the first time.

No, they're Illegals, get rid!
Well Anne, Mr Khan thinks so and must as I dont really like him I dont think he would tell deliberate porkies on something like this.
It's a particularly difficult situation.

I think that as a 'one-off' it may well be acceptable. It might help to clarify just who some of the victims were.

It's a horrible and unusual state of affairs and anything that could make it less so ought ot be considered.
No.
If they were not here illegally then they would not have had the horrible experience. It should not be used as a feeble excuse to ignore the rules.
You haven't said what you think, AOG, are you undecided?

What's your opinion Garaman?

If these illegals give themselves up, the Home Office and the Plice have promised to take no action against them.

Can we assume therefore that they will be offered luxury flats also?

OG - from link:-

Last week some of London’s lawyers offered to help victims of the tragedy including immigrants who are in the process of applying for residency and may have lost important documents in the fire....
//What's your opinion Garaman?//

I am undecided, Baldric, and wondered if AOG is too!
-- answer removed --
No as they had no right to be here at the time.
I wonder if leniency is proposed to anyone legally living in the country who may have been facing eviction proceedings for non payment of rent or anti-social behaviour?
What, exactly, has been Mr Khan's role in all this? Why has Mrs May got all the bad press and he's got away with doing nothing?
Well he had the nerve to face the angry crowd, so bully for him for that. But now he rates getting information worth allowing/forgiving illegal activity. Poor judgement call in my opinion.
Apples and oranges AOG, as you know. Not sure what you think it adds to the debate?

Offering amnesty would certainly be useful in identifying all the bodies, obviously there would need to be some way to ensure they were really residents - which seems to be the tricky part of the idea.

I hope you've not switched from the Mail to Bannon's detestable MAGAzine.
How many thousands would claim to have been living there if this went ahead?
