He is enjoying himself at the moment, but will soon find himself knocked off his pedestal by the angry and disappointed faithful should there come a time he actually has to deliver something rather than just talk about it.

It's revealing to see the following interview rather than just hear it, as it shows how Corbyn reacts to a straight mess-up. Desperately.
This is the real Jeremy Corbyn in action, being interviewed in the political cauldron that is Woman's Hour on the cost of offering free childcare on the very day the policy was announced:

13s in, "I presume you have the figures". The immediate response "Yes I do" ... a lie as he didn't, which the following minute and a half painfully demonstrated.

Can see a moral case for and against Trident but the Left is very keen to deflect from the moral case and talk about cost. So let's get it right. Defence spending is two per cent of GDP. There are no plans to increase that figure by the Conservative Party - or any other Party. Trident, its updates, maintenance and its submarines, will cost in real terms, on average over 40 years, between five and six per cent of that defence budget. These figures are not disputed by the Labour Party. So it's five to six per cent of two per cent, that is to say a comparatively very small sum by any reasonable standard.
