/// The young Prince is reportedly “adamant on leading a normal life”, with sources claiming he will not think twice in shunning some of his royal responsibilities should he marry the US
actress. ///

If he is so adamant at leading a 'NORMAL' life, perhaps he should consider getting a real job?

Like serving in the armed forces, for instance?
bag carrier for the next king or two ?
he 's like his mother - cant resist the first member of the opposite sex that comes thro the door

Yeah good idea Jimm - in the armed forces you shoot first and ask questions ( like 'what was your name again?') later
“adamant on leading a normal life”,

Well he can't. He was born a prince and in our monarchy he has certain duties for which he is rewarded by many Royal privileges...........
Do you really think that Meghan Markle would have given him a second look if he hadn't been a Prince?
Not a chance.
Ah.... 'sources' and an 'insider' have made these claims. Must be true, then.
I wouldn't believe a word of it.
yes, jack, along with the weasle words "may", "could", "shunning some" etc etc.
I would assume that there are Royal "insiders" as well as Royal "outsiders" and i would guess that information would be more reliable from the former rather than the latter.
That is if there is any information.
It's the Daily Express!! Why would you believe it. I think they often dream these headlines up.
he had a real job, unlike like some, he was in the army for over 10 years, that constitutes a real job in my eyes.
not to mention the good works he does in the charity sector, good on him if he wants a normal, whatever that means, life, i think he is a super young man with loads to offer.
I don't believe a word of this either !

Regular members here will know that I am no fervent Royalist, but I am on record as being quite a fan of the two boys. Harry has the common touch and seems to get on with everybody. His Mum brought him and his brother properly, unlike the generation before him and they are both tremendous assets to their Grandma, who at her age, needs all the help she can get.

Anyway, Betty will need him when Trump comes for Afternoon Tea at Buck House. He has a soiled reputation with the ladies and Betty doesn't any nonsense at her age does she?

So, I am hoping she will keep Harry hidden behind the curtains somewhere, with bayonet drawn, just to be on the safe side
Emmie, 11.41 He was in the army for over 10 years! , there is a hell of a lot of difference from being in the army as a squaddie or other ranks and being in the army as a Prince , believe me.
maybe, but he was still there, two tours of overseas duty,
even when the top brass were against him going at all.
After serving in the Army, I would imagine being a Royal is very boring. So I cannot blame a young man for not wanting to do it. Presumably if he gives up the tasks, then he will be off the payroll, so every body wins.
Does your experience come from being a squaddie or a prince, gulliver?

Think it's just from being an AB Sniper Bill.
IF he does abandon royal duties, then he can't go yelling at the Press Complaints thingy about invasion of privacy when he was photographed on a beach with the girlfriend, can he?

Who knows what his plans are but in truth I don't see his latest girlfriend" joining " the royal family .
She may surprise you on that, anne. Governor-General of Canada and Mrs Windsor, Duchess of Ottawa perhaps?
Can't see it myself either, I like Harry tho.

However, the girlfriend is an actress and I'm sure acting is a bit of being a royal :-)
