I don't know if you're a big social media user Danny, but I can assure you that if this is happening on any kind of significant scale it would be extraordinarily easy to verify even for an average person with a computer, much less professional journalists who are essentially paid to sit and write up what they are getting from twitter all day.
I guess all kromo's asking for is a primary source. That's not the same as denying anything. It's just the "citation needed" of AB.
I think in either this article or a related one reference was made to "1,000 email complaints" about this sort of fraud. It's quite likely that many of these were complaints about the same incident. The basic point, again, is that I don't think there's any reason to believe that this was more than just a couple of isolated incidents. One student boasts of voting six times (apparently), many people pick up on this, and either exaggerate the scale or allow the impression to be drawn that this is only the tip of the iceberg.
Again, for the record, if indeed one student voted six times then I hope they are caught and punished appropriately. But also, again, any such case(s) of fraud was (were) certainly not the reason the Tories failed to win a majority.

Voting fraud is serious offence, punishable by a custodial sentence, only the conceited and stupid would brag how they have voted six times, the majority would naturally keep stumm. The comments of mikey and kromo are simply wishful thinking, I think a full investigation is needed and if it was found to be as widespread as some believe, bye elections held in dubious constituencies.

As I say, the word you are looking for is "plurality". A "majority" would be 326 seats (and a working majority 322, owing to the speaker and his deputies, Sinn Fein, etc).

A commons debate on the issue was thwarted recently by Labour MPs using up the available time allocated, in a fatuous discussion about parliamentary timetables. Their reluctance to debate the matter merely confirms their guilt. Anyone remember 2004 when Labour were guilty of the most egregious case of electoral fraud when police in Birmingham found candidates and supporters handling unsealed postal ballots in a warehouse two days before an election? Time for ID cards at poll booths, to prevent multiple voters and either a postal vote or a card. Not Both. I had a postal vote, because I was on duty as a poll clerk and not able to vote on the day. When I applied for my postal vote I was not required to send back my card, which could have been presented by an imposter in my absence. The poll register does indeed show that a person has received a postal vote, but requires an alert poll clerk to pick it up. Which can be difficult with a packed station and people in a hurry or a clerk prepared to turn a blind eye. That could never happen though.............could it?
I'm sure I read somewhere, but cant find where the votes per seat are for the last election , that around 20 seats weere lost by a matter of 400 votes across all of them. I this is the case I can see why the problem.
Also, why doent labour want to clean up the problem? Surely electoral fraud is not limited to one Party so it makes see to sort it out so people believe in the system?
As TTT points out the Tories only have themselves, or May, to blame for their position but electoral fraud does need to be investigated and stamped out.
