He is not in prison for what he *might* have done to Nicole and Ron but for robbery.
Hopefully, now he has established that he owns 'property' it can now be sold and will go some way to paying the Civil costs awarded against him.

I heard on the news this morning that the 70 year old still gets $20,000 a month pension from his football days which can't be touched even after the civil action taken against him by the families of Nicole and Ron found in their favour.

There were $millions awarded against him in the Civil Suit for Nicole and Ron's death.
At that time he claimed, and showed, that he had few assets which could raise the amount awarded.
Since he was charged and imprisoned for 'stealing back his own belongings' (his words) those admitted possessions should be seized and sold to service this payment. And perhaps at regular intervals anything he has purchased with his $20,000 monthly pension ought to be seized and sold, too.

I didn't realise it was Nicole's family running the murder investigation and subsequent case for the prosecution.
Either way, they have my sympathies.

I think the wifes family sued the arriss off him in the civil court
so crime deffo does pay !
