Looks like much more of the license fee will be going on wages. An inevitable result of publicising individuals earnings?

Chickens home to roost anyone. Just lower the wages of all the chauvinists to fall in line with the "wimmen". Maybe some of them will even resign. Maybe Mother Theresa may be able to get in a a sly dig or two. What goes around comes around. Careful what you wish for.
There are of course lower paid workers within the BBC, there are in every organisation.
I believe some runners and lower Production Assistants earn around £20K pa, I don't know their contract terms /hours etc.
I've known some who worked there - Camera Crew,Sound Engineers and someone in the Music department, they were all highly paid and settled working where they did.

I doubt that the BBC have a set pay scale for these 'stars' or 'talent' as the Beeb likes to call them. The higher paid probably have agents better skilled at negotiating payments for their clients than the lower paid, therefore differentials between the sexes is down to their individual advisors.
Furthermore, a lot of payments from the Beeb were not disclosed as they are made either from BBC Worldwide, which apparently doesn't come from the licence fee, or are paid direct to production companies, who pay the presenters and staff under separate (non BBC) contracts.
