/// for all to see, nipples included.

Breastfeeding women don't do that. ///

Both you and naomi24 are wrong, which is not unusual when she has got her argumentative breeches on.

This woman did show a nipple, perhaps as she herself said for a nano second, but a nipple no less and who was timing the exposure?

/// ‘For the first time ever I was just asked to cover up by a member of V&A Museum staff who spied a nanosecond of nipple. Am perplexed...’ ///
So what if she did? Didn't you know what they were for?
aog, I'll ignore your silly personal comment. She wasn't walking around naked!
This old argument should have been put to bed years ago. There is nothing wrong with breastfeeding in public, at all....not even a little bit.

AOG...what ruddy planet are you living on ?

You are again wrong, you have not ignored it, if you had you would not have mentioned it. And just to put things on an equal keel, you first made a silly personal comment about me, and I try to answer like for like.

/// She wasn't walking around naked! ///

Please provide the evidence where I have said that she was.
Please provide the evidence the wee one is of an age when breastfeeding is not appropriate.

And on this thread I have not said that there is anything wrong in breast feeding in public.

This thread is all about this woman comparing her breast feeding with certain statues in the V&A.

Please stick to the subject in hand rather than make personal digs at me for stating things that I have never said.
Corby......you have got him there I think !
'I have no idea, but judging by her photograph certainly not a baby dependable entirely on her mother's breast milk.'

not like you to judge anyone AOG
Why do you think she is an attention seeker? She brought to light the actions of an employee whose director has agreed were wrong. Should she not have done that?

/// Please provide the evidence the wee one is of an age when breastfeeding is not appropriate. ///

No need to since I have never said that it is not appropriate.

What I did say however is the fact that judging by the photograph the infant is of an age when she should be able to consume solid food, and if the mother chooses to keep her child on breast milk alone, then surely we should be questioning that mother's parenting skills.
Storm in a breast cup if you ask me !
"This thread is all about this woman comparing her breast feeding with certain statues in the V&A." That's right, apart from saying the mother is an attention-seeker who shouldn't be breastfeeding the wee one in the first place.
'What I did say however is the fact that judging by the photograph the infant is of an age when she should be able to consume solid food, and if the mother chooses to keep her child on breast milk alone, then surely we should be questioning that mother's parenting skills. '

WHAT!!!???
oh dear lawd......

When you rule the world aog, no doubt women will be confined to the kitchen and all babies will be off the breast at 6 months
What evidence is there the wee one is not having solid food?? Do you have any idea how stupid you are making yourself appear?
sp1814.

I am sorry i have just seen your post directed at me and AOG.
You are perfectly correct, the degree of breast exposure does indeed invalidate our comparison..........too a degree;-)

Seems typical though...smug looking woman, fat overfed baby, describing herself as a MS, an academic and POSING with fat baby for the press.Something we are getting used to......
I'm liking how Sqad is acting as AOGs interpreter / guide dog.

No one was naked. No one was harmed. The DM knows this subject will irk its 'what can I be offended about today' readers. AOG knows the subject will be contentious on here, especially if he goes into DM mode himself and exaggerates the situation, deliberately miss understanding that a man's nakedness would be a singular act whereas a mothers semi nakedness involves nurturing her offspring.
I'd think most mothers who have breast fed will say she has excellent parenting skills. It's her business how long she breadt feeds for. And comparing a mum feeding her child to "men walking around naked" is wrong...they are not the same in any way.
I'd say the "fat baby" looks bigger to the angle/lense used of the photo.
* due to * the angle...
